Photographer Chris McVey’s mother and father are both dying and he’s not sure what to do with his life.
“It’s hard to say what to write in the future,” he told ABC News.
“I’m just trying to get back to my mum and father and the only way I can is to take photos.”
I’ve got a new boyfriend, and I’m trying to make the most of my relationship.
“That’s what I want to do, I want a relationship with a girlfriend.”
Chris McVezey was born in 1996 and has been photographing since then.
“My mother passed away when I was six months old,” he said.
“My dad was a big time photographer who used to shoot the family every day.”
He took his photos at the same time as my mum was dying, and my mum would do a few days later.
“She was so excited, she’d be like, ‘Oh my god, that’s what’s happening.'”
It was just so hard for me to accept that she was dying.
I had no idea what to say to her.
I didn’t know why she was going through that, and she didn’t want to talk about it.
“It’s the first time Chris has ever been photographed, but he said the pictures show he’s got a real sense of humour about the whole thing.”
That was really nice to see,” he laughed.”
You can just tell it’s a really sad time.
“Every time I have to go out I just get the photos taken.”
